Halloween Treat Tins

Happy Halloween!! Today I thought I would share with you some spooky treats that I made for some very special Trick or Treaters!! I purchased some clear paint tins from Oriental Trading and thought that they would be perfect containers for some goodies...I started by using some Jeepers Creepers designer paper along with some scallop scissors for the front of the tins, then I added some ricrac and ribbon...I stamped a ghost, cut him out with my nestabilities and attached him with some black twine to the side of the handle of the tin...I used a pack of black and white letters that I purchased from Joanns to spell out "treats" on the bottom of the tins...For the lid I used my JustRite Monogram stamper to stamp out each one of the girls names and framed them out with my cuttlebug and nestabilities...I filled the tins with candy, pumpkin bubbles, stickers and some lime green shred...I hope they enjoy these spooky treats as much as I enjoyed making them!! I hope that everyone has a safe and Happy Halloween!! Thanks for stopping by!!

Fall is here!!

Today I thought that I would share with you a card that I made for this weeks sketch challenge at Splitcoast Stampers...I just love fall and realized that I have absolutely no fall-ish cards...So that was the theme I was going for with this challenge...I used my Loads of Love stamp set from Stampin up and some DP that I purchased from Joanns a couple weeks ago...I just love the truck image in this set and nothing says fall to me like a truck full of pumpkins!! I used my large eyelets and polka dot ribbon to embellish the card...For the sentiment I used my cuttlebug and nestabilities along with the phrase "Happy Harvest" from the accessories stamp set...I added some glitter to the wheels and bumper using my copic glitter pen and aged the edges with a sponge and my Chocolate Chip ink pad...I love the way this card turned and I hope that you all like it too...Thanks for stopping by and Happy Friday!! I will be back later with a card for the Taylored Expressions Weekend Skectch Challenge..so check back!!

TECC38 New Baby Boy Card

Today I thought that I would share with you a card that I made for a Baby Shower that I have coming up...I also wanted to participate in the Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge this week, so I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to merge the two!! I just love the scetch this week and it works perfectly with the Wild About You stamp set from Stampin up...The rattle is a stamp set that I got as a hostess from the last catalog...I know Giraffes don't have blue polka dots but I thought that he turned out super cute anyways lol...I added three large pewter eyelets to the bottom of the stamped image and then used some funky fibers to complete the look... Merry Christmas card

Christmas is 69 days away and boy do I feel behind already...so to help me get caught up I am trying to make Christmas Cards for all the Splitcoast Challenges...This card was one I made for last weeks Wednesday scetch challenge and yesterdays plaid challenge...I know my plaid looks more like argyle, but I thought it was close enough lol...I used some old Christmas papers that I picked up from Joanns last year and some extra fibers I had laying around my craft room...Also I had some tiny Christmas bulb ornaments that I thought would be fun to use...I love the affect that it added...The stamp I used is one from a couple years ago that I picked up on sale at Michaels...I colored in the image with Copic markers and added some Crystal Stickles to finish it off...I thought I would do something funky and add some scallops to the bottom of the card...I don't like symmetrical cards lol...Lastly I added some faux pearls to the scallops and the edges of the card...I really love how this card turned out and I hope you all like it too...Thanks for stopping by and Have a great Weekend!!!

Wedding Weekend

Today I thought that I would share with you a wedding card that I made for my cousin's wedding this past weekend (Congratulations Stephanie and Jeremy!!) The wedding cake image is actually a Vellum sticker that I purchased a while back at JoAnns...Don't you just love those shiny rhinestones on the frosting!! Since the cake sticker was pink and black, I decided to use a pink/black/polka dot theme for this card...I also added some faux pearl embelishments to the card since pearls were in absolutely everything in the wedding, how cute!!

The second picture is of the inside of the card...The vellum sticker is from the same set as the wedding cake and embelished with a crystal rhinestone...I love my bling on cards!! I added the sentiment to the inside of the card and finished off the front with some pink stitched ribbon...I hope they liked it...Thanks for stopping by!!
