More Monogrammed Gifts

Only 8 days left until Christmas and I am finally starting to get caught up on my holiday shopping... I thought that I would share another personalized gift that I made for a Christmas present...I used the Damask kit from JustRite stampers to personalize this planner and boxed card sets...I used some black and white designer paper from Joann's for the background of this card and attached some black and white polka dot ribbon for embellishment...I used black stazon ink for the "S" monogram and cut it out using my cuttlebug and nestabilities...I also cut out a black scallop circle to mount the monogram circle on...I popped this all up using some foam mounting tape...I included 4 cards and 4 white envelopes in each card pack...I purchased some card boxes from a retailer on ebay to put them in...I think it gives the cards a more professional look...For the planner, I used the same techniques as stated above and incorporated both designs of black and white paper to tie the whole present together...I really hope that she enjoys this personalized gift, I really like the classic look of it...The second image is a picture of how I wrapped some of these cards up using some wraffia, cellophane and crinkle cut shred...Thanks for stopping by and I hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend!!

Personalized Christmas Gifts

Sorry it has taken me so long to post, but I have been under the weather and also extremely busy with Christmas just right around the corner...only 14 days left...can you believe that?? Where did all the time go??...I am extremely behind with all my present shopping, but I did find some time this past weekend to make some Personalized Planners for 2009...They are super easy and inexpensive to make...Target has these planners in their dollar section...First I took the plastic cover off the planner, then I measured, cut and glued my patterned paper to the outside of the planner itself...I used some of 3M's spray glue for this task...It holds really well and is super tacky, but be careful not to spray it on any furniture...I embellished the paper with some wide black and white polka dot ribbon, again I used some spray glue to adhere it to the paper...For the personalization, I used my JustRite stamps...I used the borders and centers set along with the curlz font set to create the monograms on the 1 &5/8" wooden stamper...The JustRite stampers make personalization so easy and they have so many cool products!! I want them all!! I cut out a black scallop circle using my nestabilities and popped it up with foam mounting tape, just to add a little dimesion...Once everything was dry, I put the plastic cover back on the planner and waaalaaa...a new personalized planner...The entire project took less than 15 minutes...You can't beat that!! Hope everyone has a great day!! Thanks for stopping by!!

Celebrate Joy

Today I thought that I would share a Christmas Card that I made for a Swap that I recently hosted...I used the Season of Joy set from Stampin up for this holiday card...I stamped everything in chocolate chip ink and distressed all the images with tea distress ink...I used the flourish stamp to ink up the polka dot paper, just to add a little interest...I punched out two different sized snowflakes, distressed them, added a button and attached it to the card with foam mounting tape...I also added a little twine and wrapped it around the card vertically to add some texture...To finish it off, I stamped the phrase "Merry Christmas" on the bottom corner of the card...I love the way that this card turned out and I love the little punches of green that the buttons add...
NEWS:
Also I want to add that I am hosting another swap to end on March 1st...it is a Glitter card swap...if you are interested then please follow the link below to sign up...thanks for stopping by!!
