Valentine Fun
Happy Wednesday!! Only two days left until the weekend...wooohoo!! Today I thought that I would share with you a set of cards that I made for a swap that I recently participated in...The swap called for us to use stamps purchased only from the dollar bin at Michaels craft store...I was in Michaels earlier this week, in their valentine section, and saw some really cute valentine stamps for only a dollar...So I decided to make a Valentine card for this swap...I used some glitter hearts DP that I picked up from a craft store and inked the edges with my stampin up real red inkpad...I inked the heart image using this same ink and cut it out and popped it up using foam mounting tape (I just love that stuff)...I used my cuttlebug and nestabilites to frame out the image...I love using ribbon on cards, so I added some red and white polka ribbon to the front of this card and added a little pink heart paper clip to embellish it...I found these paper clips in the school supply section of walmart, I thought they were too cute to pass up for only $1.47...For some extra bling, I added some red rhinestones, no card is complete without it!! LOL...I am very happy with the way that these cards turned out and I hope that everyone in the swap likes them...I will post pictures of the cards that I receive from the swap later...Hope you all have a great day!!

Mardi Gras Time!!
Today I wanted to share with you all a wreath that I made for this years Mardi Gras season...I just love going to New Orleans for Mardi Gras and have some very fond memories there...Last year I decided that I wanted to decorate for Mardi Gras, since it is such a big holiday in the south, but didn't like any of the Mardi Gras wreaths that I was seeing in stores...they all just looked so cheesy, were too expensiveand lacked quality....So....I decided to start making my own Mardi Gras wreaths...These wreaths were such a hit last year, that I decided to make some more for this year...Each wreath is $40.oo and made to order, so order yours today!! Wreaths can be shipped or delivered for an additional fee...Please leave a comment or email me with orders or questions...Thanks for stopping by!!
Wreaths typically include:
Masks, glitter hats, fleur de lis, ornaments, beads, glitter ting, mardi gras sprays, beautiful bow

Hoot Hoot Hooray!
Sorry that is has taken me so long to post, I hope that everyone is having a happy and safe new year!! Things have been very busy and today was the first time that I have had a chance to sit down in my craft room and make a card...I needed a birthday card for my mom's birthday tomorrow and thought that I would use this cute little birthday owl from the QT Hooty set from Pink Cat Studios...they sure do have some cute stamp sets!! I colored in my image using my copic markers and added a little glitter with my angel wings shimmerz paints...The DP is from a mat stack that I picked up from a hobby store, I just love the pastel colors...I used my Martha Stewart scallop border punch and paper pierced across the bottom of the card...I added the sentiment "hoot hoot hooray" to the ribbon embellishment and used my crystal rhinestones for some extra bling...I hope you all had a great holiday and I look forward to things getting back to normal lol...Thanks for stopping by!!
