Happy Wednesday!! Only two days left until the weekend...wooohoo!! Today I thought that I would share with you a set of cards that I made for a swap that I recently participated in...The swap called for us to use stamps purchased only from the dollar bin at Michaels craft store...I was in Michaels earlier this week, in their valentine section, and saw some really cute valentine stamps for only a dollar...So I decided to make a Valentine card for this swap...I used some glitter hearts DP that I picked up from a craft store and inked the edges with my stampin up real red inkpad...I inked the heart image using this same ink and cut it out and popped it up using foam mounting tape (I just love that stuff)...I used my cuttlebug and nestabilites to frame out the image...I love using ribbon on cards, so I added some red and white polka ribbon to the front of this card and added a little pink heart paper clip to embellish it...I found these paper clips in the school supply section of walmart, I thought they were too cute to pass up for only $1.47...For some extra bling, I added some red rhinestones, no card is complete without it!! LOL...I am very happy with the way that these cards turned out and I hope that everyone in the swap likes them...I will post pictures of the cards that I receive from the swap later...Hope you all have a great day!!
