Twisted Thursday @ S2G

Today I wanted to share with you a card that I made for this weeks Twisted Thursday challenge at Shirley's 2 Girls...If you haven't had a chance to check out their website, then please stop by NOW, you will not be disappointed!! They are adding new products daily and make sure you stop by next week for some new stamp releases and Blog Hop!! It will be so much fun and you definitely won't want to miss it!! Here are all the details of this weeks challenge:

*Create a card, following this week’s sketch and “Twist” (add dimension)

*You are not required to use Shirley’s 2 Girls stamps, but if you got'em, why not use them!

*Upload your card to your favorite online gallery and/or your blog. If you upload to SCS or PCP, please use the keywords S2GSC9 AND shirleys2girls.

*Post a direct link to your card using Mr. Linky ON THIS POST

*The deadline for uploading your card is Sunday, May 3, 2009 at midnight PDT.

*The winner will be chosen using Random.org, so everyone has a chance to win.

*The winner will get to choose a stamp from the Shirley’s 2 Girls product list, and the winning card will be showcased on Karolyn's blog as well as on the Shirley’s 2 Girls store blog.

***For this card I used the stamp set called "Home Sweet Home" from Shirley's 2 Girls...I just love this cute little hive and bee image...I thought it would be perfect as a welcome to the neighorhood-type of card...I used my swirls embossing folder and cuttlebug to add some dimension to the base of the card and paper pierced a border around the main image to add texture...I added some corduroy brown buttons to the bottom of the card and popped them up on 1 inch squares using some DP and foam mounting squares...I really love the way this card turned out and can't wait to see what amazing creations you come up with!!
