Twisted Thursday

Not only is today Twisted Thursday at S2G but today is also the day I fly to New York City to compete in the Scotch 3M Most Gifted Wrapper Contest...I was chosen as 1 of 4 professionals to compete for the Grand Prize of $10,000!! Can you believe that!! The competition is this Friday at the Rockefeller Center...I will try and put some pics up on my blog of the contest...I am super excited and can't wait to meet the other contestants!!

Here are all the details of this weeks TT challenge if you would like to play along ...Oh and I know that you want to play along!!

*Create a card, following this week’s sketch and “Twist” (use tin or foil)
*You are not required to use Shirley’s 2 Girls stamps, but if you got'em, why not use them!Upload your card to your favorite online gallery and/or your blog.
*If you upload to SCS or PCP, please use the keywords S2GSC35 AND shirleys2girls. Post a direct link to your card using Mr. Linky ON THIS POST
*The deadline for uploading your card is Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at midnight PDT. The winner will be chosen using Random.org, so everyone has a chance to win!!

For this weeks scetch I used a stamp that I absolutely love called "Penguin Sledding"...For this week's twist I couldn't find any tin or aluminum foil to use on my card (I still have a lot of my supplies in boxes from moving into my new house lol)...so I added some glass glitter to the snowflake...I know its not the same lol, but sometimes you have to improvise...I really hope that you all have some time to play along with us this week, I know that your holiday schedules are hectic!!...And don't forget about the BIG SALE going on over at S2G!!
